Here is a story of a student who took the opportunity to gain job shadowing experience at a doctor’s office last week.
“I had an inspiring meeting through the Job Shadowing possibilities. The conversation made me reflect on my dreams, my strengths and what I want to achieve in the future. Mr. Daqiq, the doctor at the GP practice had an impressive story—a story of someone who only had faith, yet still achieved so much. That brings hope and motivation. I also learned that it’s good to take initiative, but that sometimes it’s actually strong to ask for help. Asking for help doesn’t mean you’re weak – it’s a sign of courage and independence.
